As the local representative of the UWC Schools, UWC Kyrgyz Republic is responsible for the administration and annual selection of students for admission to the colleges.

Each year the National Committee receives scholarships for Kyrgyz students at several of the UWC Schools. Applicants apply to the program as a whole and based on a number of factors will be placed at respective colleges. The scholarships vary and are awarded to the best candidates.

To be eligible to apply you must meet the following criteria:

• Be the citizen of Kyrgyz Republic
• Applicants must be 16-17 years old
• Have a strong academic record
• Have a strong history of co-curricular involvement and community service
• Be mature enough to respond to the challenges inherent in living and studying abroad.
